Do you use Twilio for calls and text messages, and is texting two-way?

No. Votel does not use Twilio. We run our own phone and texting platform on the back end.

Texting is two-way: the people you text can reply.

Before you can send text messages you need an approval: A2P (10DLC) registration for a regular number, or toll-free verification for a toll-free number. You also need opt-in from the people you text.
